Honours Wanyigbeke Raymond Kejeh’s funeral In Mgbuetor-Emohua
The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd, the chief of staff Rivers State government house, Chief Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke and other notable leaders within and outside Emohua local government area on Saturday stormed Rumuji town for the funeral service in honour of Late Eze Simeon Ekweme Nyeche, at state school 1 Rumuji, Emohua LGA.
Eze Simeon Ekweme Nyeche who died at the age of 78 years was the father of the vice chairman of Emohua local government area, Hon Mrs Edna Nyeche.
Dr Chidi Lloyd encouraged the vice chairman of the council and her siblings too take solace in God, while praying God to grant the bereaved family the strength to overcome the departure of their beloved father, and accept the soul of the departed in his bosom.
The well attended funeral service also had the presence of the caucus leader of PDP in Emohua LGA, Eze Paul Wonodi, the member representing Emohua constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Sam Ogeh, former member representing Ikwerre/Emohua federal constituency in the house of representatives, Elder Chidi Wihioka, past chairman of Rivers State road maintenance agency, Surv Sam Agwor and erstwhile chairman of Emohua LGA, Barr Emma Wonodi.
Others include Hon Ikpechi Oriji, Rivers PDP youth leader, former CTC chairman of Obio-Akpor LGA, Hon Collins Onunwo, former CTC chairman of Emohua LGA, Hon Azundah Nkomadu, Dame (Dr) Victoria Sergeant Awuse and Lady Justina Emeji, the forum of local government vice chairmen in Rivers State and members of Emohua executive council, members of Emohua legislative council, as well as principal officers of the council.
Earlier, Dr Lloyd joined other leaders across political party lines at Mgbuetor-Emohua for the funeral service in honour of Late Lady Joyce Wanyigbeke Raymond Kejeh held in St Luke’s Anglican Church, Emohua Archdeaconry, which was followed by a reception at Kejeh’s compound in Mgbuetor-Emohua, Emohua LGA.
